trying out colours!

Just thought I'd try out changing the colour of my text - to see if I can do it

so here goes:

This text will be red.

It works!

But it will take me a lot longer to work out how to do this side bar stuff - could ask teenbeanzes, but they don't know I've got a blog!!

I've started a new blog at http://aimhigh5.blogspot.com/.
If you open it and click on 'View' on the very top left top toolbar (next to 'Edit')
Then click 'Source'

That will give you the HTML code for the whole page
Scroll down to this text which I have putin for you
BEANZ - FIND THIS SPOT AND COPY THE CODE FROM AFTER THIS COMMENT TO THE POINT BELOW WITH MY NEXT COMMENT
COPY IN TO THE SAME PLACE IN YOUR BLOG!!!!! - LEON

The code which I have written will give you the sidebar stuff that you saw when you first visited the page.

If you select the code and copy it (Ctrl C)
then open your own template and copy it to the same place.

It's right at the bottom of the template code

and you need to paste it (Ctrl P) just above the bit that looks like this

h2 class="sidebar-title">Previous Posts

If you have trouble with this, send me an e-mail and I'll email you the code with instructions.

I know this seems complicated, but if you can view the Page source, all you will have to do is copy the code and paste it into your template in the right place - then edit the text for your own stuff.

Good luck
